Please note that all references to the use of R22 in the documentation on this site is made for reference purposes only. Only units manufactured prior to January 1st, 2010 will be sold with R22 pre-charged. All equipment manufactured subsequent to January 1st, 2010 will be precharged with non-HCFC refrigerants. Please note that this reference carries for all literature and pdf downloads on this site as well. Specific capacities and other pertinent unit data using alternate refrigerants is available from the Manufacturer's Representatives in each marketing area.

ANNOUNCEMENT: In accordance with the provisions of The EPA regarding the phase-out of R-22, effective immediately, all references in the literature and on this website and in any and all collateral materials to R22 refrigerant hereafter relate to 410a and 407c refrigerants in general.

September 16th, 2009 Skil-aire announces all new High Performance Convertible (HPC) product offering that meets or exceeds ASHRAE 90.1 efficiency levels (13 SEER,65MBH / 11.2 EER .65 MBH) for ceiling or floor mounting using safe refrigerants 410a and 407c, variable speed drives or speed controls, HGBP and enthalpy controls for unmatched comfort, efficiency and sustainability.

August 2009 A Special Edition of The Baltimore Business Journal's Enterprising Women ranks Skil-aire among the 50 largest woman-owned businesses in the Baltimore area.

June 23, 2009 Skil-aire division of Tithe Corp. is nominated for the 2009 Top Minority Business Enterprise Award.

June 2009 Skil-aire provides cooling equipment for the African Museum in New York.

May 27th, 2009  Skil-aire announces it's online web based shipment tracking page to assist it's customers and business partners in tracking shipments from the Baltimore plant.  Simply click the "Support" tab in the left column and select "Shipment Tracking" from the drop down menu. Locate the specific shipment either by purchase order number or by job number (SO Number) and click thru to the freight carrier's interface.
